24 Hour Row Guinness World Record Attempt

Thursday 28th - Friday 29th March

Dundee University Boat Club Women's Team are row-ready to take on their mission to set a Guinness World Record!

The 12 girls will be looking to row over 250,000 meters to raise money for essential club equipment and support the Dundee Women's Rape & Sexual Abuse Centre through donating a portion of money raised!

Ahead of the big world record attempt, DUBC was delighted to welcome a press team from BBC Scotland down to our boat house at Inchyra

The journalists created a video which showcases the strength and motivations of the women's team as they take on this exciting challenge following their most successful competitive season yet!

This feature is not only the club's biggest ever media feature, but that of any club in the University Sports Union!

2018 Promotional Video by Scottish Rowing

In semester 1 of the 2018/19 term, DUBC were lucky enough to welcome Rob Eton-Jones to Inchyra, who works part-time for the Scottish Rowing Media team. Rob was eager to get as much footage as possible, from session prep on land, stunning drone shots from the sky to getting out with our student coaches in the launch! Take a look at the end result...
