For our first competition of the new year the Senior squad attended the BUCS head on the River Tyne in Newcastle.
Both The women’s intermediate coxless quad and the men’s intermediate coxed four did some excellent racing ending up getting some respectable times on the course despite some rough weather.
While in Newcastle the club also collected a new boat, Hairy McFootFace! This coxed four will hopefully allow even better training and racing at our next competition, Inverness 8s and small boats head.
