The first Regatta of the season saw some fantastic racing from DUBC through the strong winds of Strathclyde park. On the Saturday the Beginner Women placed well in their time trial despite boat problems, and the Novice Men came 3rd in their category.
The following day featured some very close races with the Senior Men placing 3rd in the Int 4+, a 2nd in the championship pairs B-final, and, after a shakey start, a well fought race by the Beginner Men's 4+.
A special mention goes to the Novice Womens coxed four which achieved a 2nd place finish! Congratulations to all the crews that raced as the club looks forward to some hopefully calmer waters at the Castle Semple regatta fast approaching.
